Children using ICT

From reading various articles over the past couple of weeks it has become apparent that children learn more about computers at home than they do at school (though I think this was pretty evident without needing to read the articles!). I'm sure schools will catch up, but by that time the children will probably have moved on to more complex forms of ICT, maybe they should teach the teachers!

Yes....

I thnik that one of the very important aspects of the kind of world we live in today is that we need to acknowledge that we are co-learners. As such we should not be afraid or embarrassed by the fact that children know more than us about certain topics. Rather, we should harness their knowledge and use it for the good of the class.

I learn things all the time by watching and talking to my students.
